Sacramento firefighters rescue two people and several dogs after rising storm waters trap them near Arcade Boulevard.

Police also arrest a suspect in a Wednesday afternoon stabbing near Longview and Watt Avenue.

City Watch:

Sacramento County celebrates four years of its HEART outreach team — over 30 staff connecting unhoused residents to behavioral health care, services, and nearly 300 shelter beds.

Weather:

Temps run from the low 50s overnight to the mid-60s this afternoon, with slightly warmer “feels-like” conditions throughout the day.

Traffic Alerts:

Construction continues on Arden Way at Watt Avenue, sewer work along Bradshaw Road through Nov. 19, and long-term improvements along Watt Avenue into April.
