Stolen Vehicle – Elvas Ave & Folsom Blvd

Early Friday morning, officers responded to Elvas Avenue and Folsom Boulevard and found a stolen vehicle with the suspect asleep behind the wheel. The suspect was safely detained and later arrested on related charges.

Firearm Arrest – Calvados Ave & Empress St

Just after 7:16 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to reports of a man walking with a handgun near Calvados Avenue and Empress Street. They quickly located the suspect, safely detained him, and recovered a loaded firearm he was not legally allowed to possess. He was arrested on multiple related charges.

Joint Operation: Guns & Narcotics Seized

Sacramento Police, DEA Sacramento, and the California Highway Patrol conducted a joint operation that resulted in the seizure of multiple firearms and significant quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl. The department highlighted the importance of coordinated enforcement in keeping the community safe.
