Deputies arrested a 20-year-old man Tuesday after reports of shots fired at vehicles near Madison Avenue and College Oak Drive.

In a separate case, a 29-year-old man was taken into custody after deputies recovered modified firearms and tactical gear tied to suspicious activity around East County schools.
