• Felony suspect search: Deputies searched a North Sacramento neighborhood near Elkhorn Blvd & Weddington Way after a felony assault suspect ran from a nearby encampment. No update yet on an arrest.
• Mather multi-car crash: Six people, including two children, were injured in a multi-vehicle collision near Mather Airport. All were transported to local hospitals; the cause is still under investigation.
• Overnight pursuit arrest: A vehicle pursuit on Del Paso Blvd ended with the suspect’s car disabled and the driver taken into custody on related charges.
• City Watch – Ag report: Sacramento County’s 2024 Crop & Livestock Report highlights more than $536 million in agricultural production, led by wine grapes, market milk, and pears.
• Weather: Patchy morning fog, then sunshine with a high around 61°.
