Hit-and-Run Arrest

Major Collision Investigators located and arrested 41-year-old Geoffrey Haenggi after weeks of follow-up on the October 25th fatal hit-and-run. He faces felony hit-and-run and multiple firearm-related charges.

Barricaded Suspect — South Sacramento

Just after 11:30 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a domestic-violence call in the 6200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The suspect was believed to be armed and barricaded. SPD worked with the Sheriff’s SWAT team as the situation unfolded.
