Homicide Investigation – Harris Avenue

Sacramento Police released new details about Friday’s deadly shooting in North Sacramento.

• Time/Location: Just after 2:45 p.m. on Nov. 21, 900 block of Harris Ave
• Victim: Adult male, later died at the hospital
• Investigation: Homicide detectives and CSI responded, processed the scene, gathered evidence, and interviewed witnesses
• Arrest: 39-year-old Guadalupe Valencia of Sacramento, arrested Nov. 22 and booked into the Main Jail on homicide-related charges
• Coroner: Will release the victim’s identity after next-of-kin is notified
• Tips: Anyone with information can contact Sac PD or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers; anonymous tips may earn up to $1,000
