What do you do when life gives you an answer you weren’t hoping for?
In this episode of The Safe Space, I’m opening up about a situation involving my daughter that challenged me to look at trust, faith, and uncertainty a little differently. I share what I’m learning about the difference between worrying and preparing, focusing on what’s within my control, and releasing the things that simply aren’t mine to carry.
Sometimes trusting the process doesn’t mean understanding it. It doesn’t mean being happy with what’s happening, and it definitely doesn’t mean pretending that disappointment doesn’t hurt. Sometimes, trust looks like saying, “I don’t know what happens next, but I trust that I’ll be guided through it.”
We’ll talk about faith, redirection, disappointment, surrender, and learning how to care deeply without allowing fear to consume us.
So if you’re currently waiting on an answer, dealing with a rejection, navigating a difficult season, or simply trying to figure out what’s next… this episode is for you. 💛
You don’t have to solve tomorrow today. You just have to take the next step.
In this episode:
✨ Worrying vs. preparing
✨ Trusting God when you don’t understand the plan
✨When “no” feels like redirection
✨Making room for disappointment while still having faith
✨Focusing on the input and releasing the output
✨Learning to surrender what you cannot control
Thank you for spending a little time with me in The Safe Space. 🫶🏽
