Dr. Mark McNear discusses growing up in a home with an abusive father, his battles with addictions and rehab and ultimately his calling as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

The National Center on Sexual Exploitation released their annual Dirty Dozen List of organizations that facilitate, enables or profits from sexual exploitation. We talk through the list. Many organizations not surprising but there are a couple that will raise your eyebrows.

Josh McDowell has spoken to more than 46 million people about the evidence of Jesus Christ since he turned from being agnostic and joined Campus Crusade for Christ in 1961 and shortly thereafter started Josh McDowell Ministry. He has written or co-authored 151 books including More Than A Carpenter and Evidence That Demands A Verdict.

Josh is also a survivor of horrific childhood sexual abuse, perpetrated by a trusted employee of his family. He joins us to discuss the sexual abuse he survived, sharing red flags that nobody noticed, while making a plea to pastors and church leaders to join us in preventing violence.

We have seen a surge in domestic violence and sexual abuse within the church, so we want to empower and encourage church leaders that violence is preventable.

Chase Lyday, Avon Schools Chief of Police, has been an SRO for 11 years and is currently the President of the Indiana SRO Assoc. as well as a board member of the National School Resource Officers Assoc. (NASRO). Chase helps us understand how SROs are trained and their role within a school.
