Great gospel music from the heart of the Big Apple

The Alzheimer's Disease Cooperative Study (ADCS) was formed in 1991 as a cooperative agreement between the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and the University of California, San Diego. The ADCS is a major initiative for Alzheimer's disease (AD) clinical studies in the Federal government, addressing treatments for both cognitive and behavioral symptoms.

With the sweet sound of soul, the power of gospel, and the influence of jazz, singer/songwriter Paula Ralph-Birkett embarks on her debut project entitled Decision. She was most recently the featured vocalist in The Tyrone Birkett Group’s (TBG) progressive Gospel Jazz offering In the Fullness of Time. But now she has a few words to say of her own. “I love working with TBG. Working with them continues to help me define my voice and my perspective.” says Paula. “For me it’s all about the story of a song. And there have been stories I’ve wanted to tell for a while. Only now have I found the courage and joy to say it.” The first single Fearless, due in July 2010 is an expression of what she has found. And she gives it with sweet soul, powerful truth and pure joy.
