Hello my lovely One Called Mama community! I have been quite the busy little bee over here and am so excited to tell you that One Called Mama is now Samantha + Co.!

At the beginning of this summer, the LORD showed me He is expanding my tent pegs. It became very clear that I needed to create an organization to encompass everything He wants me to do. Thus, Samantha + Co. was born. My show is no longer only for the moms. Supporting every woman at every stage of life is now my mission.

But why change the podcast name? Is the format changing too? In this short “episode”, I answer those very questions and why I felt this major change was needed.

Today I share with you the story behind my upcoming baptism and how all the details fell into place. This is more than just a rededication and act of obedience for me. This is a day that marks the beginning of the greater purpose and mission the LORD has set me on.

Things have shifted in my soul. My movements and choice are much more intentional and driven by an even deeper purpose that I am still discovering. I don’t entirely know what to expect on that day; what I do know is that things will never be the same. And I’m here for it.

I attended the Behind Her Brand two-day conference last week, and let me tell you: it did not turn out how I expected. The LORD completely blindsided me at what I thought was the worst possible time.

What started out as intense shame and deeply misplaced identity, turned into the beginning of a revival in my heart. The barriers had to come down and they had to come down strategically.

Even though it was painful, I can see now what He was doing AND why.
