In this sermon from Hebrews 13:5–6, we explore what it means to live as a "satisfied runner" in the Christian life. Our hearts are naturally drawn to find security and satisfaction in money, but Scripture calls us to keep our lives free from the love of money and to be content with what we have. True contentment isn't found in possessions, but in the unshakable promise of God's presence: "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Because the Lord is our helper, we can live free from fear and financial anxiety. When Christ is our treasure, we are freed from the weight of discontentment and able to run the race of faith with endurance, joy, and confidence.
