  • The Sausage Factory Episode 51: Tactical Simulations Interactive
Strategic Simulations Inc. (SSI) was a company that had a long history of making very complex and deep games for the PC, Apple IIe, Commodore 64, Amiga and Atari ST in the 1980s and into the turn of the century, which was eventually absorbed into Ubisoft. David Shelley and David Klein have created a new company, Tactical Simulations Interactive (TSI) that is a spiritual successor to SSI. As part of the launch of this new company, a new RPG game is being developed called Seven Dragons Saga. It is to be funded by Kickstarter as this episode of The Sausage Factory is being published and the link to the campaign is here.

  • The Sausage Factory Episode 48: Chilled Mouse

Chilled Mouse offered to make a desktop version of the game for Windows, Linux and Mac and Rodeo Games agreed to do that and it now resides on Steam in a new and improved version of the mobile game. Show host Christ ORegan chats to Ian Baverstock, founder of Kuju Entertainment and now Chilled Mouse about how this port came about and the challenges that have been faced by the fledgling publisher.
