  • Episode 104: Geoff Keighley's Braindance 2020
Geoff said "the pandemic be damned, my World Premieres shall not be World Preempted" and made sure The Game Awards went on!
Video games' longest and best commercial brought us tons of announcements, tons of award winners, and tons of licensed music to make streamers sweat DMCA bullets.
There was so much show we had to call backup: special guest Nicholas Stinchcombe (of @MakeMonsters fame)! Prepare for a slobberknocker of an episode.

  • Save Room Reviews: Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Save Room Reviews returns and this week we're reviewing our first next-gen game for the PS5: Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. That's right, Jonah Jameson--the Spider-Man is back!
Insomniac delivers on every front with this follow-up midquel, building on the foundation of what made 2018's Spider-Man amazing and trimming out the fat in favor of a leaner story for Miles and his cast of characters. Thwipping up baddies and swinging through New York feels buttery smooth and is only elevated by the PS5. This game is oozing with style, heartfelt moments, and yes--you can pet the cat. We honestly can't rave about this game enough.
So watch out for Spiders, man, because this is a must-play launch title.

  • Episode 103: Curse of the DMCA
The dreaded DMCA has flooded Twitch with copyright notices hitting streamers small and large. As streaming continues to grow, will the archaic copyright laws of yesteryear evolve to keep up? No, of course not.
Meanwhile, PS5 launch day woes, Mortal Kombat's movie reboot is delayed, and Ghost of Tsushima breaks records for first-party, original PS4 games.

  • Episode 100: Thank You to the Roommates
Wow. 100 episodes of gaming's most beloved podcast (that it doesn't know about).
This spot is usually reserved for pithy comments and a cheap shot at Todd Howard, but instead, we just want to say thank you. Thank you for listening. Thank you for forming a community around this amateur audio journey that's lasted four years. Thank you for being a roommate.
Rest assured, there's more to come. (Haha. "Come.")
