Join us as we finish our Christmas sermon series on the eve of our savior's birth. We'll look at Luke chapter 2 verses 1-11 and the reason we celebrate the birth of Jesus, and what it means for our lives and for eternity.

Most of our Christmas traditions are suprisingly new. Elf on the Shelf, advent calendars, pajamas, trees, etc. But the true Christmas story is ancient.

In Luke 2, the angels announce that the Savior has been born. But to understand why Jesus came, we have to go back even further. All the way to Genesis 3, when humanity first sinned and God promised a descendant who would defeat death and crush evil forever.

God’s greatest gift is not found under a tree. It’s found in a manger, in a cross, and in an empty tomb.
