This week's episode of The Savvy Property Investors Show focuses on What Is Co-living and Why Is It Popular? with Sarah Watt

Sarah is one-half of Alt Street Property. A venture that started out with each of its founders owning one property unit each, Sarah purchased hers with her post-graduate savings. Since then, Sarah and Andrew began to build their business in Sunny Sydney, Australia buying a further 4 properties which were either added to the property portfolio or sold for profit. Eventually setting root in the UK, and moving with their beloved dog, they found the UK rentals weren’t very pet friendly and 95% of places didn’t accept pets or living conditions weren’t up to standard. In 2018 they came across the concept of shared living / HMOs. Within a year the first HMO was added to the Alt Street portfolio. A landlord for over 10 years, starting with simple buy to lets, Sarah and partner more recently moved into flips and HMOs. Alt street property has gone on to create a portfolio of boutique, design-led, co-living houses for young professionals in Northampton and has continued to grow this sector of the business. In addition to this Sarah is now working with Investors, helping them grow their savings & investment pots whilst undertaking the next property project.

Chris has built a property portfolio with a net worth of 4.45 million and has done over 60 creative deals and lease options transactions. He currently has 25 active lease options and creative deals in his portfolio and has flipped and renovated numerous projects ranging from small budgets to large on each deal. With 15 serviced apartments, Chris still finds the time to be a dad and loving husband to his wife who he speaks of very dearly.

Our guest this week is Nathan Amaral he will be sharing with us WHAT IT TAKES TO BE AN INTERNATIONAL INVESTOR?

 

At the age of 18, Nathan Amaral was working three jobs to dig his way out of $60,000 of personal debt. Frustrated by the slow results, he spent two years learning real estate and closed his first deal at the age of 20. Within a few years Nathan had transacted millions in real-estate capital while also becoming a sought-after trainer and speaker in both residential and commercial transactions. Since then, he has invested in single-family properties, land, apartments, hotels, assisted-living properties, and even a lending company to help other investors. Through 15 years of real estate investment, Nathan has discovered that while his passion is real estate, his calling is consulting. He is the founder of Fearless Millionaire and has consulted over 5,000 investors on how to gain more clarity, confidence, and cash flow. He brings his experience with many types of real estate investment, as well as his joy in working with fellow entrepreneurs, to his ability to guide investors of all experience levels.  He is well known for his fearless attitude and no-nonsense dive-in mentality, both of which have helped his consultation clients achieve their goals, expand their goals, and achieve them faster in their life and in business.
