This week Simi and I discuss the recent lawsuit filed by Brian Flores, suing the NFL and three teams over racial discrimination and abuse of the Rooney Rule. The complaint comes after Flores, who is Black, alleges his interview with the New York Giants was a “sham” because he was notified in a text exchange with New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick before the meeting that former Buffalo Bills assistant Brian Daboll had already landed the job. He still went through the interview. 

Relationships are incredibly complexed, difficult and sometimes frustrating, but they are also wonderful, sensational and magical. Relationships are what shape our world without them I believe society would cease to exist. Simi and I talk about the different relationships we have and had throughout life, the trials and tribulations of any relationship along what our red flags are and what we consider to be red flags when looking for a partner.   

The last episode on the last day of 2021, how fitting it is. This year was filled with ups and downs, twists and turns etc etc. Simi and I recap the year on a more personal note and look towards the new year being more beneficial to us. Enjoy this send of to 2021!

Patriotism is defined as the devotion and support for one’s home country, and the feeling of alliance with those who share that sentiment. However, recently, many found it difficult to be proud of a country with a former president that advocated racism, xenophobia, and misogyny.
