Telephone conversation with Ian MacKaye back in April 2010. It covers the subject of 'Revolution Summer'; a transformational period within the DC hardcore punk scene during the 1980's.

This is the second episide in my new podcast series 'The Scene was Dead Anyway' in which I will speak to musicians, promoters,  artists - mostly from the underground music scenes around the world -  and share their experiences, insight, and knowledge.

Dave McMahon is the founding member of Tokyo-based noise-rock duo  Justice Christopher. He is originally from the UK but has lived in Japan for the past seventeen years. In this episode we talk about Dave's  formative years back in the UK and the music scene around the early 00's. To the latter end of the podcast Dave discusses the transition from the UK to Japan and rubbing shoulders with some powerhouse musical names.

This is the first episode of my new podcast series entitled 'The Scene was Dead Anyway' in which I will speak to musicians, promoters, artists - mostly from the underground music scenes around the world - and share their experiences, insight, and knowledge. In this first episode I'm joined by my good friend and fellow muso Tom Favell.
