      — he release of the Mueller report this week was a revelatory moment for me. I realized that, some time ago apparently, I crossed a political Mendoza line, where I am now more disgusted by Donald Trump’s opponents than I am by Trump himself.
    • Things the Media Ignored in the Mueller Report
    • — There are countless examples of the media beclowning itself when the left’s dream of a slam-dunk against the president failed. It was like the election night follies all over again.
To quote the satirical Babylon Bee: “CNN: ‘God Allowed the Mueller Report to Test Our Unshakable Faith in Collusion’”
    • The Mueller report concludes it was not needed | TheHill
    • — These are some of the most elite prosecutors in the country, and they went full Hamlet on a legal determination a third-year law student would knock down between Budweisers. This is what we get for $30 million? Make a call; that’s your job as prosecutors.
    • Taking the high road: William Barr handled the Mueller report with class | Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
    • — Since his job as attorney general is to decide how or whether to act upon the findings of the special counsel, Mr. Barr explained how he and his colleagues evaluated the report and applicable law to reach their decisions. He went so far as to say that his team disagreed with some of Mr. Mueller’s legal theories but accepted them anyway as the basis for their analysis. He explained the report’s redactions and why these were legally necessary, adding that the White House could have requested redactions but declined.
    • Sri Lanka bombings: Islamist group blamed but focus also on failure of security forces | World news | The Guardian
    • — Sri Lankan officials have blamed a small local group called National Thowheeth Jama’ath for the bomb attacks on Sunday. It is unclear whether this assertion is based on new information discovered by investigators since the atrocity or a notice circulated by Sri Lankan police 10 days before the blasts, which said the group was planning suicide attacks against churches.

    • — Many protesters are frustrated that the international effort to help Notre Dame has drawn more attention than their five-month-old Yellow Vest movement against wealth inequality...

    • — Realtor John Townsend had the article on hand as he showed a 1,500-square-foot (139-square-meter) three-bedroom, one-bath condo listed at $1.15 million. He said he had double the traffic the weekend after ride-hailing company Lyft went public in March. The condo, which needed updates, sold above asking price.
    • Why Bob Kraft’s ordeal should alarm us all
    • — It’s hard to care when a billionaire suffers abuse at the hands of our justice system. But the case of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has been a travesty, and we should all pay attention.
