Moka Only is a hip-hop legend with over 110 album projects released, countless music production and performance collaborations, and a dedicated global fanbase. He is known for his surrealist lyrics and unique musical compositions. What is not as well known is his interest in Freemasonry and esotericism.
This episode was recorded late in 2018. Moka’s album Patina was just coming out, and his recordings as “Tank Gawd” have since been released. Check the show notes for links to these recordings. My interview style was still in its early stages and a little rough in some spots, but I think the value of this recording outweighs any embarrassment I might have about it. I hope you enjoy discovering the unique intersection between art and magick that is my friend Moka Only.

This is the third episode that was recorded at Esotericism in Freemasonry Conference 2021. Billy Hepper presents “Guardians of the Holy Land: Freemasonry and the Quest for Authentic Tradition”. Brother Hepper begins by examining what the ancient Sanskrit Vedic scriptures foretell about the cycles of human history and what it means for our modern age. He then explores the universal concept of the Holy Land found throughout many cultures around the world and looks at Freemasonry’s own construct of this idea as represented by the Temple of King Solomon.
Billy Hepper is a popular speaker in Freemasonic Lodges in the Vancouver area. Brother Hepper is a member of Mount Herman Lodge # 7, Past District 13 Education Officer, a member of the Vancouver Lodge of Education and Research, and a 32* Scottish Rite Freemason.
A special congratulations to Billy Hepper on his being named as co-host of Occult of Personality podcast since this was recorded. We here at The Scholomance Project are super excited to hear more from him! https://occultofpersonality.net/

This short talk right at the beginning of Esotericism in Freemasonry Conference 2021 was presented by Brother Jaime Paul Lamb to argue that, at least according to the accepted academic definitions, Freemasonry falls under the term “Western Esotericism”. Meant to be an introduction to the topic, Br. Lamb presents some basic definitions and then briefly outlines the important figures in the recent history of the study of Western Esotericism.
A special thanks to Br. Lamb for sharing this with us. His latest book “The Archetypal Temple” is available from Tria Prima Press. Please support his important scholarship. https://triaprima.co/2021/08/18/new-book-the-archetypal-temple-and-other-writings-on-masonic-esotericism/

In Episode 4 we begin our series of lectures recorded at EFC2021. First up we have the full recording of Wes Regan’s Freemasonry in the Age of Conspiracism presentation. Brother Wes covers a lot of ground in the first hour, and then we include nearly forty minutes of Q&A afterwards. This area of study is fascinating and very timely considering the forces at work in today’s political environment.

Freemasons are no doubt familiar with terms like Plandemic, Illuminati and The New World Order. These seemingly silly conspiracy theories are experiencing a resurgence with real-world consequences. We speak to Wes Regan about his recent research on the topic and discuss some related ideas. We might even get a tiny bit political.
Don’t miss his presentation at Esotericism in Freemasonry Conference on October 2nd, 2021. Tickets www.esotericmasonry.com

I recently had the joy and pleasure of having a wide-ranging conversation with Brother Jaime Paul Lamb. He has published two significant works on Freemasonry in only three short years, and he is on the cusp of publishing a third. His writing is accessible and popular amongst those members of The Craft whose interests lean towards Western Esotericism. Our conversation covers a little of his original interest in esotericism, some of his experiences in Freemasonry, and more than a few interesting ideas he originally put forth in Approaching The Middle Chamber. This book is excellent reading for those looking for a broad overview of the Seven Liberal Arts and Sciences from the perspective of an experienced practitioner and student of The Great Work.
This talk is just the first of many we hope to host with Jaimie. Please make sure to support his publishing efforts at http://www.thelaudablepursuit.com/ Questions for him for future installments can be directed to the show email at [email protected]
