Description:

This course explains the SLP’s role in RTI in the school system. It outlines the RTI tiers and gives examples of each. This course gives real life tips on how to make time in your busy schedule for RTI and how to get other professionals on board. RTI won’t sound so overwhelming and confusing after this course. Earn 1 clock hour of continuing education credit (Introductory Level, Professional Area).

As a result of this presentation the participant will be able to:  

1. List a reason why we do pre-referral interventions
2. Give an example of tier 1 RTI
3. Give an example of tier 2 RTI
