This week was a pretty intense week of engagement with students, to include a 1st Grader telling me how he really feels. As an old school teacher, this generation of students can quickly take me down an unfamiliar path! Join me as I share with you a few experiences of the week that I hope sheds light and insight on life in the schoolhouse.

If I only had a quarter for every time that I said "I'm old school" in different situations that I encountered. Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic were the main products the classroom offered. Now, our main product is de-escalation strategies. There are other services that the classroom now offers. Join me as I share my heart of concern for what I'm seeing in the schoolhouse.
