We’re speaking today with Zoe Chance, who has a very cool story: she grew up poor and shy and worked her way up from telemarketing and door-to-door sales to professional acting to managing a $200 million segment of Barbie. Now, Zoe focuses on impact. She trains CEOs, activists, and leaders worldwide; and she teaches the most popular course at Yale School of Management.

Her new book is INFLUENCE IS YOUR SUPERPOWER: The Science of Winning Hearts, Sparking Change, and Making Good Things Happen, and I think this book has the potential  to be a game-changer in the way people think about, talk about, and practice influencing each other.

We speak to Zoe about why influence is a superpower, the difference between gators and judges, why Empathy is a precursor to persuasion, and why one has to learn to be influential in order to chart the course of future history.
