I’m pleased to welcome our guest, Dr. Alex Wimmer, who was named our new director of Bands. Dr. Wimmer has a long history with the university, earning both his Master of Music degree in Education and his doctorate in Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction from K-State prior to joining the staff under the instruction of Dr. Frank Tracz for the past 13-years.

Our topic today is the Alumni Association’s Traveling Wildcats program. This program has been around for more than 50 years and we average over 700 participants each year. We partner with experienced travel companies who specialize in alumni group travel so that we know our K-Staters will be well taken care of on any adventure they choose! With more than 40 options annually, K-Staters can find a tour that fits their bucket list and their schedule.
