1. We talked about the new Spectrum basketball arena that was constructed in 1970 and how the Aggies started to become a formidable home team in this historic building.

2. We then talked about other news in that decade for Utah State. This includes a research program, live mascot, and a national championship.

3. Lastly we talked about the up and down seasons in the 1970’s for football as well as the introduction into the PCAA conference at the end of the decade.

1. We started by talking about the Aggie basketball teams including the great Wayne Estes and the legendary mark he left on USU.

2. We then discussed Robert Turbin’s recent comments on Merlin Olsen and other great Aggies of this era that we asked at the Ultimate Sports Bash at the Mountain America Expo Center over the weekend.

3. We finished with a discussion about the great Aggie football teams in this decade and how we enjoyed some dominance in the state before the script would flip.

2. We then escaped back to the 1950’s and AJ reviewed how the schedules would become more modern in that era.

3. Dan then finished off with a review of how the Aggies did in the 1950’s in football as well as other important events in that time period.

• We then touched on the football results of the decade and the new Old Wagon Wheel trophy which a guy named Lavell Edwards took a part in as an Aggie at the time.

• We finished by congratulating Blake Anderson on his newest addition to the Aggie family.

• We then discussed the world events going on in the Roaring 20’s as well as important events for the school at the time.

• We finished with a summary of the football season which highlighted how the Aggies did in their first ever conference championship and beyond. We also mentioned the birth of the football rivalry with Brigham Young University.

• We started off by talking about USU football in the 1910s as well as what was going on in the world at the time.

• We highlighted big wins and seasons and the emergence of legendary coaches like Dick Romney.

• We also started to talk about the early basketball program and their efforts to field a respectable program.

• We talked about the football seasons from 1900 to 1909.

• We also dabbled in the beginning of basketball for this decade as well.

• We previewed the next decade where a legendary coach would start his football and basketball tenure.

• We started by talking about the biggest offseason storylines of USU athletics since we last spoke two months ago.

• We then reviewed the four football games that Utah State Agricultural played in the 1890s decade.

• We finished by expressing our excitement for this offseason review of Aggie football by the decades.

• We started with the Ladies in 80 to highlight the success in softball and gymnastics.

• We then talked about the 23 year drought being broken when the Aggies beat TCU 88-72.

• We finished by talking about the 39 point loss to Purdue in the second round and where the Aggies go from here.
