Rambo has been one of the main men of the action genre. There has been numerous parodies, homages, even a statue has been made of the character in Alaska. The character of Rambo has made an impact on action movies, but what about the rest of his character then just what he can do in hectic situations? He’s a military character from a war that gave a lot of trauma to soldiers. There has been movies that have characters from war, but not like John Rambo. On Today’s Episode of the screen queen is hashing it out about the old story in the horror genre, the slasher. 

Scary stories have never gone away, there is obsession with what goes on in the dark and who the monster is. American Horror Story made the resurgence to touch base with many scary stories. What happens when the focus is just on one part of the horror genre? Canadian creator Aaron Martin took a stab at making some fresh stories to add to a stale story like the slasher. With a self-explanatory title could there be all to know about this show?  I share my thoughts about how a small Canadian horror show did something different to the sub-story within the genre of horror, it’s a show that you’ll just have to take a stab at.

The Screen Queen Podcast info

The movie that tells the tales of Hollywood with the ideas of what Hollywood would have looked like if Sharon Tate lived and if Rick Dalton was the guy that was almost the man in the movies of the past. It’s a twist in time with the tales of Tate and the Manson family, what’s not to love about the sweet sixties, the end of the era. 

P.S. I will take the fault that I enjoyed putting in many notes of repetition to parts I commentated about, I took a vote (the voting wasn’t hard since there is only one person in this show) and she said to keep it in. In the future, I’ll try not to do too much repeating, but since this is a movie that repeats the past, I did that too. That’ll be my reason for that.

If there is one that never fails to make me smile its remembering some of my friends bashing this movie and refusing to do nothing with it, then looking around before whispering "I liked it." 
I anticipated the movie coming out despite the hate it was given by the census and rotten tomatoes and yet here I am talking about how the critics were wrong about this Marvel movie. Somewhere Sony pictures is like "So you were saying this one wouldn't work because it was owned by us? HA HA" 
All jokes aside, Venom had a rocky journey. There is a commentary about Topher Grace's perfomance ( I go easy on him, and you'll find out why), the different characterization of Eddie Brock, and how this movie works better than the other ways. Get your oreos and tater-tots ready for this episode.

A story is unique and has it's own identity, but that doesn't mean it should be counted out about what it would be like in a different flow of fiction. It's like a pair of shoes, it comes in another color for a reason. 
Here on the first episode of the Screen Queen I break down the idea that these two comedy movies have a plot that can work for a horror movie once you look at it's plot point and how it doesn't sound all wholesome once you take the original element of its genre out of the picture. Will I ruin your favorite funny movie because I have these weird thoughts about changing the genre to a movie? You'll find out!

I am not royal, (though I am a royal pain and I accept that). I'm one of many people that are fans of the screen. If it wasn't for the stories we see, why I wouldn't be here telling you how much it changed my life to be an author. We choose how we are effected by what we see, what I saw made me appreciate the value of that story.
It doesn't matter how that story is told, whether it's a full scale movie, a spectacular Tv show, an amazing anime, a beautiful book, or a vibrant video game. A story has a purpose, this show serves to talk about how it made the impact. I'm just one of many different screen talkers. This show is a mishmash of commentaries about the story, my own personal stories about what it was like to watch it, and some surprise trivia.
