The Search

Many of David's psalms include requests. He often asked God for healing, deliverance, and/or justice. However, there was one thing David desired above all other petitions and that singular priority is the subject of this trio of psalms.

Jesus spoke these familiar words of lament from the cross: "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Mark 15:34).
