In this episode I sit down with Hunter Hoek, a true North Georgia Sportsman. Hunter has been hunting and fishing North Georgia his whole life, and has some valuable experience. He owns a charter business that pursues everything from Striped Bass, Spotted Bass, Large Mouth Bass, trout and the always elusive Walleye.

In this episode I sat down with Matt Coker, an absolute assassin on public land, especially in the North Georgia Mountains. Matt tagged out the first week of public land season here in Georgia and is now filling tags in other states. In fact he's been a part of two more tags being filled since we recorded this. We talked about the many successful hunts he's had on longbeards and even some tactics that has contributed to his lethality. Terrain plays a huge factor in many hunts, and I sure learned a ton. In this episode I sit down with Jeff Nail to talk about Lake Lanier bass fishing. Jeff is a well know guide on the lake and spends almost every day of the year on the water, or in the woods. We cover current conditions on the water and how the fish are reacting. Including pre-spawn, spawn and post spawn strategies.

In this episode I sit down Eric Aldrich. A seasoned Lake Lanier angler. He writes fishing reports for a few of the local news papers and has some prominent sponsorships from a few great companies including SPRO, Gamakatsu, Kissel Krafts, Sunline and Georgia Blade. We talk pre-spawn / spawn bass fishing, in addition to techniques and lures that Eric likes to use this time of year.

In this episode I have the honor to sit down with Chris Jenkins.  A wildlife biologist, conservationist, ecologist and outdoorsman.  Chis is the COE of a great nonprofit organization, Orianne Society, who's mission is to conserve habitat for reptiles and amphibians.  He works closely with the DNR on many habitat projects, and even played a vital roll in creating a few of our WMA's in South Georgia.   During our discussion we cover everything an Appalachian Sportsman might pursue throughout the year.  We even get into mature mountain buck behaviors and hunting strategies.
