One of the biggest challenges for today's students is fighting the flurry of unending distractions. Given how fickle our minds are, to rein in this ‘drunken mad monkey’ (Swami would refer to the mind in this manner) is no mean task for anyone, let alone the impressionable youngsters.

While studying in Bhagawan’s school in Prasanthi Nilayam in the 90s, Amitabh Das Gupta went through an episode when he became a victim of the tricks of the monkey mind. But the merciful Lord alerted him and eventually emboldened him with His guidance and grace to deal with such antics of the mind, and learn to rise higher and become nobler.
