Shamans and Amanita mushrooms are said to be a pillar of Christmas tradition and iconography. Yet we can find similar and stronger foundations all over the world, signifying that humans have always expressed what they saw in slightly varied ways under different names and identifications. Our Santa Claus can easily be seen as a Satan Claus(e), or a contractual obligation of reward and punishment for behavior where we obtain gold or coal, alchemical terms that further relate to Santa’s counterpart Krampus. The Great Conjunction, or planetary alignment of Jupiter and Saturn, also known as the Christmas Star, is a macrocosmic expression of the microcosmic Great Reset, or alignment of all ideology and structure, on our planet. This ‘reset’ is run by someone named Klaus who promises us a better world with good behavior. His little elves go on making the toys and giving us free money out of their gift bag if we just do what we are told.
