This meditation draws upon the parables of Matthew 13 to reflect on the spiritual battle for our souls and the importance of Christian vigilance. We consider the various dangers posed by the world, the flesh, and the devil, and the need to nurture the good seed of God's grace through sincerity, examination of conscience, and fraternal support. As we strive to remain awake and fruitful in our vocation, let us ask our Lord for the grace to drown evil in an abundance of good and respond more fully to his love.
