Let us know … what seeds you are planting?
Have you ever looked at your life and thought, "Well, this certainly wasn't part of the plan"?
We make plans. We set goals. We picture how life is supposed to unfold. And then sometimes life throws us a curveball that changes everything.
This week on The Seed Project, I'm chatting with Tammy Munson, founder of Wildfire Creative Company, about what happens when the life you planned isn't the life you find yourself living.
Tammy opens up about a season that turned her world upside down, challenged her need to have everything figured out, and taught her what it really means to trust God when you can't see what's coming next.
We talk about letting go of control (which is easier said than done!), the importance of having good people in your corner, and why beginning again doesn't mean you've failed.
And here's something I love about Tammy's story. She can look back on one of the hardest chapters of her life and actually be grateful for what it taught her.
It's a conversation about faith, change, and discovering that sometimes there's a whole lot of good waiting on the other side of something you never would have chosen.

Let us know … what seeds you are planting?
Who says taking a break means doing nothing?
After a busy week, Charlotte found herself at the kitchen table with a couple of white pumpkins, dried flowers, and a bottle of Mod Podge. No plan, no expectations, and absolutely no idea where she'd put the finished pumpkins.
In this lighthearted Sunday Seed, Charlotte shares how a simple fall craft became a refreshing mental break and a reminder that rest doesn't always mean sitting still. Sometimes keeping our hands busy with something creative is exactly what our minds need.
A little creativity, a little fall fun, and the simple joy of making something beautiful just because.

Remember Pollyanna and the Glad Game? Somewhere along the way, being called a Pollyanna became an insult. But was she really as naïve as people made her out to be?
This week on Sunday Seeds, Charlotte revisits a childhood favorite and a simple practice that has followed her into adulthood. It's a conversation about optimism, perspective, and the surprising influence of what gets our attention.

Let us know … what seeds you are planting?
Why does staying connected with old friends get so much harder as we get older? Charlotte shares the ongoing challenge of getting three nursing school friends in the same room and explores what happens when friendships that once came naturally are no longer part of everyday life. Sometimes the friendship hasn't changed. Life has. And when connection is no longer automatic, a little intention can matter.

Let us know … what seeds you are planting?
At 25 weeks pregnant, Charlotte Edwards walked into a hospital with what she thought was severe heartburn. Within hours, her son was born weighing just 1 pound, 11 ounces, and both their lives changed.
In this deeply personal episode, Charlotte shares her 118-day NICU journey, which eventually led her back through those same doors as a NICU nurse. It’s a story of fear, grief, faith, unexpected joy, and the people who showed up along the way.
Because sometimes a big moment changes the direction of your life. But it’s the small moments, the quiet kindness, the encouraging words, and the people who see something in you that help shape who you become.

Let us know … what seeds you are planting?
A tiny speck on my contact lens interrupted fifteen minutes of my morning. It was almost too small to see, but definitely not too small to matter. This Sunday Seed explores why we so often confuse small with insignificant, and how the smallest things can have an impact far beyond their size.

Let us know … what seeds you are planting?
What looks damaged may only be tarnished. In this Sunday Seed, Charlotte shares a childhood memory of polishing family silver and explores the difference between what life leaves on us and who we actually are. Because what we see on the surface, in ourselves or in someone else, is rarely the whole story.

Let us know … what seeds you are planting?
Charlotte has always loved the moon, and when her son was growing up, she made sure he looked up too. From quick trips to the front yard to late-night drives to watch the moon rise over the ocean, it became something they shared. Now that he’s away at college, he’s the one sending the text: “Mom, go look at the moon.” A Sunday Seed about wonder, connection, and the unexpected things we pass along to the people we love.

Let us know … what seeds you are planting?
Sometimes what helps us keep going isn’t advice or a solution. It’s simply having somewhere to land. In this Sunday Seed, Charlotte shares a college memory that comes full circle years later, exploring belonging, connection, and the quiet power of being a place where someone can rest, feel welcome, and catch their breath.

You are already planting something.
With every thought.
Every word.
Every action.
Every ordinary day.
The question isn't whether your life is…
It's what kind of impact you are making.
Welcome to The Seed Project, a podcast about the small things that shape us, the ways we shape each other, and the ordinary moments that matter more than we think.
Through stories, science, faith, conversations, and a closer look at everyday life, Charlotte P. Edwards explores what happens when we start paying attention.
Because small things change everything.
And when you realize your life is always planting something, you get to decide what you want to leave behind.
