The Demons Of Content Creation:

In today’s article, I wanted to talk about something that isn’t brought up a lot – The Demons of Content Creation.

Yesterday I woke up and wasn’t feeling the greatest.

Traveling this past weekend and Memorial Day caught up with me.

The crap thoughts arose in my head. They told me to quit the things I have been doing and do not produce.

There was no amount of coffee that could clear the negative fog in my brain.

These bad thoughts usually occur from some things:

Lack Of Sleep

Not Working Out

Drinking on the weekends

Travel

Crappy Diet

The worst thoughts creep into my brain and take residence there. It’s tough to silence them.

A Quiet Place is a special movie.

In the horror genre, you don’t get a ton of films where you care so deeply about its characters. As soon as A Quiet Place starts, you begin to form a deep bond with the family.

I felt, deep within me, that no one was safe in this film. Anxiety didn’t leave my body for the entire length of the movie.

People DM me a lot of different things throughout the week.

The question I get asked the most is about how I am always putting out new content.

Every single second of the day I am thinking about how to better use my time. I want to be providing my audience the most return on their investment.

Most people put all their chips into one platform.

Content creation is equal to playing the lottery. I want to be playing a bunch of different lotteries.

How do we stand out in a space that’s oversaturated?

What are we doing different that will engage viewers and drive people to share?

Be Personal, Be Proud, Be Human…

Today, I want to discuss the concept of 1000 True Fans.

Last week I went to a concert near Philly at the Keswick Theater.

I went to see an artist by the name of Steven Wilson. His former band, Porcupine Tree, is one of my favorites of all time.

The show was incredible.

Every person in his band is a maestro of their instruments.

I was in awe watching these amazing musicians all play together.

While I was sitting in my seat, looking at the people around me, it inspired me to write this article.

The next time you pass by someone when you are out and about say Good Morning.

Today’s post is simple yet effective.

As most of you know, if you read My Biggest Life Hack for 2018 post, I go to the gym early at 5 AM.

While I am there I have a limited amount of time. I need to get in, get the workout done, and head home to get ready for work.

This means keeping chit-chat and sitting around at a minimum. Which doesn’t bother me. The gym is a place to get in and get your work done.

I am not trying to be an asshole to anyone. It is the fact that I am limited on time and feel it could hurt the workout.

Its detrimental to going to the gym if I spend most of the time talking and not working.

To mitigate myself looking like a total asshole, I decided to do this one simple thing.

I have been contemplating lately about my come back to the streaming world and how it helped me create more content.

If you didn’t know I did stream on Twitch back in 2015.

The problem was I didn’t treat it in a serious manner. I did not have a schedule and I didn’t stream with a consistently.

I discovered Professor Bromans Podcast in December 2017. It reignited that fire to start up my stream again.

Have you ever started your stream and things go wrong?

Your internet goes down or your stream doesn’t look as good as the day before?

Are you not feeling energetic and don’t want to entertain on certain days?

Things are not always going to go according to the way you planned them in your head.

You put so much time into the background work. Making sure everything is perfect for that moment when you hit the Go Live button.

And then, once you are live, the stars don’t align and everything doesn’t go well in your eyes.
