Bob Loudermilk has been in the Event business for over 25 years. After selling his trade show business in Kansas, he and his family moved to Edmond, Oklahoma.

Bob was not ready to retire, and so he began researching the 50+ market where he saw a need to create a quality Expo for seniors. An even that is focused on sharing local resources and connecting people with organizations for a variety of aging topics.

After meeting Robin Gunn, a decision was made to work together in launching the Second Half Expo. And that brings us to today…as we prepare for our 6th ANNUAL Second Half Expo.

What Does “Aging in Place” actually mean — and when does it stop being realistic?

Aging in place simply means staying in your own home as you get older, with the right support — it’s not an all-or-nothing choice. But sometimes the home itself starts working against you: stairs become a fall risk, upkeep piles up, or help just isn’t nearby. The goal isn’t to talk anyone out of their home — it’s to help families notice honestly when the home has stopped fitting the life.

It is that time of year again … grab your tennis shoes and pick a sport you want to participate in at the Oklahoma Senior Games!

FAMILY CAREGIVING WITH BOBBIE GUNN TRIBUTE FROM JUNE 2021.

Bobbie Gray Diffee-Gunn was originally born in Arkansas and came to Oklahoma City in the Bethany area in 1953 and lived here the rest of her life.

She married the love of her life in 1955, Gordon Carl Gunn and was a caregiver for him and others in her family with her mother Laura Diffee.

Bobbie touched the lives of so many and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
