The Sequin Playbill

We learn about the full journey and experiences of how I got into live theatre, and we briefly touch on Shaw Festival’s history and the 2023 season!

We get into the shows currently running and soon to be coming to Broadway for the year 2023! So if you’re in the Broadway area this year, check out some of these shows!!!

I discuss the results and effects Drag Race has had on drag culture in society today. I cover the idea of cis women doing drag, the lengths performers go to to reach an unrealistic expectation, and the expectations attendants now have of local performers based on a highly produced television show. This episode gets feisty, fair warning.

Welcome back to what was known as Riesling and Raven, but newly rebranded as, The Sequin Playbill!!! In this welcome back episode, we discuss what this podcast will focus on, Drag and Theatre!!! More specifically, drag, within theatre!
