Today’s reading brings us to the Sermon on the Mount, where Jesus calls His followers the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Just as salt preserves and creates thirst, believers are meant to slow the decay of sin and point others to the living water of Christ. Just as light drives out darkness, our good deeds are meant to shine so that others see and glorify God. Jesus’s call is clear: live in such a way that your life makes people thirst for Him.Hosts:
