When Michelle and her husband decided to move from the United States to Italy a few years ago, she found herself 'on the sidelines'. Not knowing the language, or the culture, she was forced to let her husband (who speaks Italian) communicate for her. She decided to get off the sidelines, learn the language and culture and to begin speaking to connect not just to speak.
Mercedes Blanco grew up the small town of Zamora in Spain, and always dreamed of traveling the world. When she arrived in the United States in her 20's, she quickly learned that she was on her own. she had no friends or family here and did not know how to speak English. She had to advocate for herself and become comfortable with the uncomfortable. Today, she is a global leader for The Hotel Network and a founding member of Women in Travel Thrive.
For most of her life, Lynn Zwibak was told she was too energetic, too analytical, or just 'different'. Forging the right career path and reframing challenges as opportunities put her in a position to help others. When she was diagnosed with ADHD and was able to begin a therapy plan to manage her ADHD she discovered that it wasn't a disability at all but rather her newfound superpower!
Lynn has worked within the hospitality space in various roles, and it was in that space she found her real passion, helping coach businesses on Revenue Management. Today, Lynn is the founder of Zwibak Revenue Management and an advocate for helping others who struggle with ADHD and other mental and behavioral disabilities.

David Kong came to America as an immigrant from Hong Kong at the age of 18. He graduated from the University of Hawaii with Bachelors degree in Business Administration and soon began working in the hospitality field as a busboy. Eventually, he became the CEO of Best Western International and focused his leadership on building a culture of inclusion and diversity throughout the hotel industry.
Today, David is teaching leadership focused on relationships and diversity through his DEI Advisors project.
