Sam Nelson was a teenage student when he trusted ChatGPT for advice on how to take 𝙙𝙧𝙪𝙜𝙨. He 𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙙, aged 19, after following the advice the AI chatbot gave him. In this video, which contains scenes that some may find upsetting, I look at how this happened.

ACT II (12:33-23:55): UK 𝘿𝙧𝙪𝙜 Driving Laws Make No Sense At All

When it comes to 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙙, the UK 𝙙𝙧𝙪𝙜 driving laws make no sense at all. With alcohol, the roadside tests indicate if someone is impaired by the booze so driving would be dangerous. But the 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙙 roadside test does not indicate if someone is impaired after using 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙙 (that would be fair enough), it tests if someone has any traces of 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙙 in their system whatsoever. So people who have 𝙨𝙢𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙙 a 𝙟𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 one or even two weeks ago, are being arrested and convicted of driving whilst impaired. Even though research (Eadie et al, 2021) has concluded that cognitive impairment after 𝙨𝙢𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙙 only lasts for around four hours. This is a huge miscarriage of justice that’s going on right now in the UK.

ACT III (23:55-32:38): Is Live Nation Running a Monopoly on UK Festivals?

The UK monopoly position is 25%. Market dominance position is 40%. According to data from the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF), Live Nation controls 66.4%. 

John Rostron, CEO of the AIF, said: “Based on our analysis, we believe that there is evidence to suggest that Live Nation could be held responsible for engaging in anti-competitive behaviour and we therefore recommend that the Competition and Markets Authority investigate matters. A huge drug trend is also a somewhat hidden one: steroids. According to some estimates, one million British people are on the gear. I don’t know anything about this, so I spoke to Tom Usher, a journalist who has recently produced a documentary on the topic. I wanted to know why he made the doc, what he learned about how many people take them, why so many people keep it on the down low, and what motivates them to do it in the first place.

I asked everyone to submit questions for me to ask Professor Adam Winstock. He's a psychiatrist who specialises in addiction, a researcher who has published over 100 studies on the topic of drugs, the founder of the Global Drugs Survey, and founder of harm reduction education programme Staying Safer. You lot submitted about 100 questions, it took hours for Winstock to answer them.

When some people take 𝙈𝘿𝙈𝘼 they get a comedown so severe that it feels like the Devil is tap dancing on their head. But others get the elusive ‘afterglow’, when they feel great for a period after getting on it. What factors influence this?

Irish poitín is one of the strongest alcoholic drinks ever known to man. It has an infamous reputation and not just because of its strength; in 1661, the British Crown changed their licencing laws introducing taxation on alcohol, but the poitín distillers refused to play ball. Instead they opted to move their activities underground, creating an illegal cottage industry.
