Jade Ballek is Principal of the Sun West Distance Learning Centre in Saskatchewan, Canada. Her online school provides courses for students in K-12 and currently has over 600 full time online students and around 4000 students in total.
Previously, she was an Educational Consultant in the area of Technology, Curriculum and Assessment in the Sun West School Division which is a rural Division, spanning 32,000 square kilometers (roughly 20,000 square miles). Recently, she facilitated an action research project on Blended Learning with Grades 1-12 with 22 teachers throughout our
