The Shade! Colorism.

Listen Later

Colorism has been a term used in the black and brown communities as a form of discrimination between lighter/ darker skin tones. Our two special guests, Mya Matos and Prishna Jimenez-Cassan, share their experiences with colorism. Disclaimer: Thoughts and opinions spoken on this topic are those of each individual and their experiences. We respect all perspectives and experiences shared, and we are not here to judge or determine anyone’s truth. Thank you to our guests for sharing your experiences and being so transparent. Also, we apologize for mic issues ( it’s technology), but we continued to push through to have this much needed conversation.
