Sounds like a real storm is coming up when Annie hears what sounds like little kittens meowing outside and she sends him out to rescue them. But when he goes out he is attacked and killed by what sounds like a pack of wild dogs. Meanwhile Lamont Cranston and Margo Lane are in Louisiana on their way to see Arthur Whittington an old friend of Lamont’s from college who was ridiculed for his strange voice. When come to the end of the road they see a sign which says Whittington Hall, Keep Out. Then Margo hears some meowing like kittens and goes to search for them only to be forced back by giant snarling dogs. . .
