Today we are going to talk about what we see in our meditations.

Is what I see in my Shamanic meditations real?

The short answer is yes, and no.

When you journey you experience a new dimension that is just beyond the veil of your sight. What takes place there is real but, it takes time for it to materialize on this plan. Now the answer is also no because if you see and talk to a guide that is always saying you are right, you are never wrong and, you are perfect, then you are not talking to a guide. You are talking to your ego, which is just you trying to make yourself feel better and not taking responsibility for your actions.

A guide will give you a new perspective that you would not otherwise recognize.  Some, if not most, will be contrary to what you believe or think, just like any great friend would do for you.

So, is what you see real? Yes, you are seeing things in a different realm. Sometimes this will be animals speaking to you, sometimes it will be angels. What that means is, there is simply a representation of what you need to see or hear.

Today we are talking about - How does Shamanism benefit me? 

First of all, let me say this - Every spiritual practice traditional or otherwise that puts you in a higher state of consciousness, is good. However, we have a dilemma. We are spiritual but do not agree with the traditional institutions and their rules. So, how does Shamanism benefit you?  First of all, it teaches us to tap into the unified field of possibility. That opens up opportunities for growth in ways that are unbelievable. 

Shamanism has elements of self-healing. So you can go, face and heal your pain. Shamanism also leads you on a path of self-discovery. It helps you remove your current mask and shows you who you are. From there you can decide to either improve upon yourself or, change yourself to who you want to be.

So, now that you are this far into the podcast, you may be wondering - so how can I begin a practice?

To me there are only two ways:

Ultimately you are going to have questions that books are not going to be able to answer. Or, you may be the kind of person that needs to hear it from someone, feel it and see it.
