The Sharon Hughes Show

Guest: John Whitehead, author Founder of The Rutherford Institute - Continuing our emphasis for September's National Preparedness Month - Beginning in 2001 after the attack of 9/11, 'safeguards' were put in place by the government to protect Americans against more terrorist attacks; fast forward to the last administration and lines were crossed even more that not only resulted in invasions of privacy, but tactics that some describe as resembling a police state. What's the truth?

Guest: Michael Maloof, author - with September as National Preparedness Month, and the possibility of an EMP or nuclear attack in the future, or according to some experts, we'll look at why it is wisdom to'be prepared'.

Guest: Ron Rhodes, Author of Cyber Meltdown - Whether natural disasters like hurricanes and fires, or national disasters like the terrorist attack of 9/11, or privacy intrusion via our computers and more into our homes, learning what can be done to prepare for or prevent disasters from harming our families is the focus for National Preparedness Month.

September is National Preparedness Month so we will discuss how to prepare for some of the possible, most frightening, scenarios our nation and world faces. Such as the ever-increasing digital invasion in our homes, such as smart TVs seeing us as we watch; our computer webcams taking pictures of us; being recorded while you are waiting on hold on the phone, and much more. Be aware, alert and learn how to protect your privacy.

Author Tal Brooke, President Spiritual Counterfeits Project tells of the events and history encompassed in the annual 'Burning Man' event, held every year at Black Rock Desert in Nevada, attended by 70,000 this year. Wiccans, nudists, new agers, 'artists' anarchists attend for a week of "glorious Hell on earth." They burn sacrifices, worship gods/goddesses and express bizarre sexual behavior.

Guest: Terry James, Author and expert - still one of the most listened to shows online that we have done, and the only show we've done on this issue! Are UFOs real? If so, what are they? Aliens or Demons? Fascinating dialogue on an issue many are interested in.

Guest: Edwin Black, author and over a dozen times Pulitzer Prize Nominee on IBM and the Holocaust and Margaret Sanger's influence on Hitler - as we continue our annual Summer Classics before kids go back to school. Some of the most listened to, and still relevant, shows we've done. It's surprising, and valuable, to see what issues we all were talking about that are either now coming to pass, or accelerating more than we thought they would.

Guest: Tom Horn, film producer of "InHuman" and author of many books including "The Milieu - First up how facebook tracks everything about you, whether on their site or not, and sells that information without you knowing it. Then the emerging movement to merge man with machine not just enabling a better life, ie walking, etc., but to the next 'evolution' of man...to becomes gods.

What is the impact of the digital age on health? How has social media, which was purposely designed to be addictive, affected our (and our children's) minds, emotions and relationships, just like a drug? Part 1

Guest: Diane Ravitch, author of "The Language Police" - continuing the discussion on the extent political correctness has changed our language, thus our worldviews. Tolerance is the requirement to be politically correct, and all who won't bow the knee to PC will not be tolerated.
