In December last year Malta became the first country in Europe to permit restricted use of cannabis for recreational use, and in January this year Psychotherapist Mariella Dimech was appointed to chair the new Cannabis Authority.
Bearing in mind that Mariella had been known to strongly appose the law, it seemed the perfect opportunity to invite this well-loved and respected television presenter, practitioner and business woman back on to The Interviewer to talk about her apparent turnaround.
In this episode of The Interviewer Mariella explains the details of the widely misunderstood new legislation, the purpose and ambition of The Cannabis Authority and why she has taken this position despite still strongly apposed to taking cannabis.

Well, we knew this day would come. Eventually The Interviewer would sit down with regular guest Tez Saliba to dedicate a show to Tez's journey through pregnancy.
But before you think that this isn't the show for you - Tez's honesty about her complete change of life, the fear of the next 18 years, the challenges faced by a husband and wife who don't agree on everything in relation to bringing up their son - is all very refreshing.
Tez shares her joy, but also her frustrations at being typecast as a mother, and the barrage of unsolicited advise she receives on every aspect of motherhood. Tez also touches on how it has affected her marriage, and even her sex life.
