It has been the huge talker around Minnesota and the country this week, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has been named as the Democratic Vice Presidential candidate for Kamala Harris so it leaves the question of “what if? - we talked to Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan about Walz being selected, Farm Fest, her being a native Minnesotan possibly becoming Governor and more!

There has been so much confusion among the national media regarding how to properly pronounce the Minnesota Governor and now Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz last name, so we invited social media personality Robert E Blackmon on the show regarding his Tik Tok video featuring the infamous song “Get Low” from Lil Jon featuring the East Side Boys which helps clarify for the masses on how to properly pronounce the Minnesota Governors last name.

This hour we talked to Hope Patterson of Summit Academy about the career paths they help shape and the training and services they provide! Also chatted with Lydia McComas of Hennepin County about the importance of voting in primaries and when and where to go to vote!

From Minneapolis to Boston, Sheletta shares her mission to help those who struggle with autism and she is in Boston for an Autism event and spreading awareness of the door locks available to those in need for wandering children within the home that struggle with autism. Also we invited back Eric Eskola, following up on last week’s conversation with Tim Walz, now officially the Democratic Vice Presidential candidate. 

It was announced earlier this week that Minnesota Governor and frequent guest and friend of Sheletta, Tim Walz was named as the Vice Presidential candidate with Kamala Harris. Fast forward to Saturday, Sheletta tells us all- she was right - including following up from last week with Eric Eskola! We get his take on Walz being named to run alongside Harris for the Democratic Party and what his expectations are for the upcoming Democratic Convention in Chicago.
