Sheletta Brundidge is back behind the mic on a Sunday night.  During this hour, she speaks about the search for a missing child, a person that wasn't present at son Andrew's graduation party, and a new childhood preschool program.

Another hour with Sheletta as she is preparing her home (and restroom) for an upcoming grad party. We talked to Dr. Verna Price about her efforts of supplying those in need in Africa - clothes, food, you name it! Then finally we talked to Steve Thomson about the Minnesota Timberwolves, a little Twins talk and how can the Timberwolves bounce back next season! 

It was a tough loss at Target Center in Game 5 as the Timberwolves were eliminated from the Western Conference Finals so Sheletta had to call upon Steve Thomson to help us get through the losing process and look ahead to what they may do next year.

Started off this beautiful Saturday talking about an amazing community garden in Cottage Grove bringing people together. Also we reacted to the tragedy in Minneapolis where an officer was shot and killed and we reflect on what needs to be done so we don't have this happen again. Afterwards, we talked to Nevada Littlewolf who is hosting a Women Winning event on Monday where many will gather together and support one another to protect women's reproductive rights. 

We had the chance to talk to Nevada Littlewolf, Executive Director of Women Winning, a non profit with a mission to electing and empower women and leaders in protecting reproductive rights - we talked to her about the upcoming Women Winning luncheon next week all for the purpose of electing leaders who help protect and empower women’s rights. 

Tragedy struck Minneapolis on Thursday afternoon when Minneapolis Police Officer Jamal Mitchell was shot and killed in South Minneapolis. Fast forward almost 48 hours and we seek to answer what we can do to help and who we can call upon to take action so we dont keep having to go through this time and time again. There is a community garden in Cottage Grove where communities gather around and share social and cultural values while having access to food as residents - we talked to Maggie Noubissie of the Cottage Grove Community at Meadow Grass Park and asked her about this great opportunity to bring people together while growing together. 

Final hour of the Sheletta Show on this beautiful Saturday - it is nice outside but it may not be inside - so many homes in Minnesota contain led within their walls so Justine Baumann specializes in lead prevention and she joined Sheletta today to talk about the dangers of lead, the steps to eliminate that and a $15,000 grant available to families who need it removed. Then we chatted with an educator who is using comic books to teach the next generation in a way they can understand. Finally, we talked to Steve Thomson about the upcoming show and what the Timberwolves need to do to win Game 7!
