Psalms 22, 23, & 24
Makaela takes us through what are known as the Shepherd Psalms. Looking at Jesus' ministry as the Sacrificial Lamb, the Divine Shepherd, and the Eternal King. Leaning heavily into themes of trust, we look at the character of the One we put our trust in.
Discussion Questions:
- Icebreaker: If you were any type of farm animal, what animal would you be?
- Can you think of a time where you had difficulty trusting in the Shepherd or a time where your trust was divided?
- As Jesus shows khesed (unconditional love, generosity, and enduring commitment) to you, is there anyone that you feel the Shepherd leading you to show the same to?
- How can you practically allow the victorious King of glory into your life? Whether in a new way/area of life or once again through a gate that hasn’t been used in a while?
