We may wear it on a shirt, but we know "just do it" isn't the greatest piece of advice out there. Especially for a busy woman. We've got enough on our plates to have someone tell us, "just go get it done."
In this episode, after Michelle and I catch up for a few, we get into the strategies we use with our clients to help them get into the "Get Shit Done" mindset.
Plan for problems ahead (holidays, work travel, vacation)
Have a schedule and stick to it.
Keep the goal the goal, and accept that you’re not going to be able to do everything.
Know that you don’t have to be awesome all the time
Embrace the grind.
Know yourself, and where your blocks and distractions are likely to be.
Have a support system.
Have something to look forward to doing every day.
Realize: YOU are in control, and YOU set the tone of YOUR own day.
Recognize that there’s no one size fits all approach nor a “perfect time”.
Create “no distractions” time and space for yourself, even if only little chunks.
Keep going, and focus on the bigger picture.
