On our Seventh episode of The Shiba Chat Show we receive Bernardo Conti, who is a Shiba breeder and a Shiba lover who lives in a beautiful farm not far away from Florence, Italy.
He has been breeding dogs for 46 years (first with Border Collies and from 1994 until now with the Shiba Inu).
Bernardo talked about how he first came in contact with the Shiba Inu, his priorities and duties as an experienced breeder: the ethics, the importance of the Shiba’s character, type and construction or even genetics.
According to our guest, to be a good Shiba Inu breeder you need to have a high sense of beauty and never forget to follow the FCI Standard for this breed.
Since our guest spoke for more than an hour we have decided to split this episode in two parts.
