This Sunday, we will take the fourth piece of armor, the shield of faith. ”Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one” (Ephesians 6:16). This piece of armor defends us against one of Satan’s oldest tricks - creating doubt in God Himself. If Satan can get us to doubt God and His Word, then we have nothing in which to put our faith. Because we know "faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God" Romans 10:17.
