Why does God want to walk with us anyway?

How often have we ever said something like, :I can't wait for things to go back to what they were before"? That's certainly a normal thing to say - it's what Israel said when they asked Aaron to make them an idol to worship...

God used Moses as a messenger to the Pharaoh, but he also used him as a messenger to his own people and to the Egyptian people. What kind of a walk would any of them have after he was done bringing them the message?

God uses what he needs to in order to get our attention and get us walking with him. for one guy, that meant walking in dreams...

There are some horrible stories in the Bible, but few are as disturbing as God telling Abraham to sacrifice Isaac. Is there something we can take from this story which will help our walk with God? Or is it just horrible?

Adam, Enoch, and Noah all walked with God. How about you?
